Ten (10) Things You Can Do To Refocus Your Mind Back To Christ

Have you ever found your mind wondering into the unknown? Tried to bring your mind back on your own but not sure how? This list originated from my Pastor and I thought it would be worth the share here…

Start your day with Scripture before screens. Even five (5) minutes in the Word before checking your phone can reset your focus.
Pray short “reset prayers” throughout the day. When your mind drifts, whisper: “Lord, set my heart on you again.”
Memorize a verse for the week. Let it “loop” in your thoughts – turning Scripture into a soundtrack.
Use worship as a mindset shift. Play one Christ-centered song during your commute or while doing chores.
Fast from negative-input. Limit news, social media or entertainment that feeds worry, anger, lust, greed or envy.
Journal God’s goodness. Write one line each night: “Today I saw God’s hand in…”
Practice gratitude outloud. Thank God for three (3) things each morning and tell someone else about them.
Surround yourself with reminders. A sticky-note on your mirror, a phone background with a verse, or a cross necklace can nudge your focus back to Christ.
Ask Christ-centered questions in conversations. Instead of only “How was your day?” try, “Where did you see God at work today?”
Serve someone intentionally. Acts of kindness reset your focus away from self and toward Christ.
